  Did you know that many denials, in fact, are NOT valid? Whether they’re due to a simple typo on a claim or a payer’s oversight, you have the right to know on your carrier or intermediary’s door and argue your case. And fortunately, recouping your denied payment is really quite simple- if you know the ins and outs of the appeals process. Part of managing the accounts receivable and increasing revenue includes the appeals process. But add that the defensive measure of Denials management, performing Root Cause analysis, looking for where the denials are coming from, why the denials are happening and what can be done up front to avoid them to begin with.
