Sandy Giangreco, CPC, CPC-H has 18 years experience in medical records management, coding, auditing and compliance in both the hospital and outpatient setting. Her unique blend of "hands-on" experience, formal education in health information management, and national speaking engagements allow her to have the experience needed to instruct seminars and workshops on coding, documentation, and Medicare and Medicaid policy. Sandy is also certified as an approved instructor of the "Professional Medical Coding Curriculum" through the American Academy of Professional Coders. She is the current President of the Appleton, Wisconsin Area Chapter of the AAPC.

Yvonne Hoiland, CCS-P, CPC-H, RCC, CPC, PMCC Instructor is a Certified Coding Specialist-Physician-Based, Certified Professional Coder/Hospital-Based Services, Radiology Certified Coder, Certified Professional Coder, and Professional Medical Coding Curriculum Instructor, with more than ten years of experience in the health information management profession. Prior to joining Coding Continuum, Inc. as a consultant, Ms. Hoiland was the Quality Improvement Coordinator for a 365-bed university affiliated teaching facility with hospital-based outpatient clinics. Ms. Hoiland directly supervised a staff of seventeen inpatient and outpatient coders and performed extensive chart audits of hospital-based outpatient services. Ms. Hoiland implemented a Point-of-Service/Product Line coding model in high revenue generating areas, including Emergency Department, Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Catheterization, Electrophysiology Lab and Endoscopy Lab. In her role as Senior Consultant with Coding Continuum, Inc., Ms. Hoiland conducts audits, operational assessments, provides education to coders, clinicians and ancillary personnel, and works on litigation matters on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants. Ms. Hoiland is a frequently requested speaker at local, state and national conferences sponsored by the American Health Information Management Association, American Academy of Professional Coders, HcPro, and DecisionHealth. She is a nationally recognized expert in the area of interventional coding, providing coding expertise to clients, professional societies and product vendors.

Cheryl A. Schad, BA Ed, CPC, ACS-RA is a nationally recognized Radiology Reimbursement Specialist and owner of Schad Medical Management, a physician reimbursement/compliance consulting firm. Cheryl’s personal area of expertise is Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. She has performed numerous workshops, seminars, and audio conferences for DecisionHealth, The Coding Institute, The American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and for American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA). Cheryl has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare field.
Cheryl is the Chairman of the Radiology Specialty Committee of the Board of Medical Specialty Coding. She is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Radiology Coding Alert, published monthly by The Coding Institute, Naples, FL. She is also a past member of the National Advisory Executive Board of the American Academy of Professional Coders and a current member of American Healthcare Radiology Administrators. |

Bruce A. Johnson, Partner, Faegre & Benson LLP, Denver, CO Bruce A. Johnson brings over 18 years of health care legal and management experience to his client including as a health lawyer with Faegre & Benson, LLP in Denver, and as a management consultant with the MGMA Health Care Consulting Group. Bruce’s legal and consulting practices involve working with physicians and other health care organizations on the numerous business, legal, compliance, operational and financial issues. His clients include medical groups, hospitals, integrated systems, academic medical centers and faculty practice plans.
Bruce is a frequent speaker on various topics including the application of the Stark law, physician compensation and compliance strategies, physician-hospital integration and collaboration structures and strategies. He is the author of numerous books and articles on health care related topics, including MGMA's Physician Compensation Plans – State of the Art Strategies, the developer of MGMA’s StarkCompliance Solutions web-based product.
