Q. What are CEUs?

A continuing education unit, or CEU, is a unit of credit granted by a professional association for participation in an educational program. All sessions at CodingCon have prior approval for CEUs from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).

Q. How many CEUs do I need?

A Certified Professional Coder (CPC®) must complete 36 CEUs every two years. CodingCon 2015 provides up to 18 CEUs in a single event!

Q. How can I earn all 18 CEUs at CodingCon?

It's easy. Just register for and attend the entire conference—Main Conference plus the Pre and Post Conference sessions—and you will earn 18 CEUs!

Q. Are there specific sessions I should choose to satisfy CEU requirements?

You are free to select sessions on the topics that interest you. In the Main Conference session, you are welcome to switch tracks at any time without charge. If you hold a CIRCC®, CPMA®, CPCO™, CPPM®, or specialty credential, CEUs with prior approval specific to your credential are noted in the session description.

Q. Will my CodingCon 2015 CEUs be recognized by other professional associations?

If you hold a credential from a professional association other than AAPC, check with that association for their CEU guidelines. However, most professional associations recognize CEUs on relevant topics that have AAPC prior approval.
